SEARCA Scholars and Alumni Conference 2026 SUSTAINing Southeast Asia’s Agricultural Futures

The SEARCA Scholars and Alumni Conference 2026, themed "SUSTAINing Southeast Asia's Agricultural Futures," will be held on 19–20 October 2026 at the SEARCA Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. As part of SEARCA's 60th Anniversary celebration, the conference will gather scholars, alumni, researchers, and development partners to showcase research, exchange knowledge, and strengthen regional collaboration in advancing sustainable agricultural and rural development across Southeast Asia.

Anchored on SEARCA's SUSTAIN Southeast Asia agenda, the conference will feature presentations and discussions on four key themes: increasing farmers' incomes, improving food security and nutrition, building climate-resilient agricultural systems, and empowering farmers, institutions, and innovation ecosystems. It also aims to generate recommendations that will strengthen graduate education, scholarship partnerships, and alumni engagement in support of sustainable agrifood systems transformation.
