The Agricultural and Rural Development (ARD) Conference 2026 will bring together policymakers, researchers, development partners, private sector leaders, farmers, and civil society representatives to shape policy pathways for transforming Southeast Asia's agrifood systems. Held on 2–3 December 2026 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City, Philippines, the conference will focus on advancing resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture through evidence-based policies, innovation, regional collaboration, and strategic partnerships.
Organized as one of the flagship events of SEARCA's 60th Anniversary, the conference will feature keynote addresses, plenary sessions, and policy dialogues centered on four key themes: strengthening inclusive agrifood value chains and market access, promoting nutrition-sensitive food systems, accelerating climate-resilient and nature-positive agriculture, and leveraging digital innovation to empower farmers, women, and youth. The conference is expected to produce a regional White Paper and Conference Proceedings to guide future agrifood systems transformation in Southeast Asia.
