he Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) will convene policymakers, researchers, development partners, private sector representatives, farmers' organizations, and other key stakeholders for the Agricultural and Rural Development (ARD) Conference 2026 on 2–3 December 2026 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City, Philippines. Anchored on the theme, "Policy Pathways for Sustainable Agrifood Systems Transformation in Southeast Asia," the conference will serve as a regional platform to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and promote evidence-based policies for more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agrifood systems.
The conference will feature plenary discussions, technical sessions, policy dialogues, and networking opportunities focused on critical issues such as climate resilience, digital innovation, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, inclusive value chains, and regional cooperation. These discussions are expected to generate actionable policy recommendations and strategic partnerships that will help accelerate sustainable agrifood systems transformation across Southeast Asia.
